We’re taking our best shot for Fall Color and the agenda is still up in the air. So much will depend on Mother Nature. Roughly, we’ll plan on a Saturday morning sunrise photography outing and then follow the wonderful color in the foliage.

On Saturday afternoon, you’ll be on your own - no club activities will be planned. This is a perfect time for you and your significant other to explore the park. In the evening we’ll plan on a group dinner.

At this time of year, sunrise is about 7:40 am - a very reasonable sunrise. The sun will set at about 6:25 pm, just in time for a reasonable dinner hour.

Sunday departure is at your own discretion.

Lodging

Here are a few options for lodging at the state park.

• Beaver’s Bend State Park has cabins (reservations 580/494-6300) or go to their website. (The website is not showing much availability; different than calling!) Click Here for the Reservation Website.

• Lakeview Lodge (inside the park)– still under renovation as of 3/6/2022. Projected completion is September 2022 – they are not yet taking reservations.

• Check VRBO, Airbnb, booking.com and other vacation rental sites for houses/cabins. Search Hochatown, OK or Broken Bow, OK.
