Yes, it’s January, and yes, it will be cold.  REMEMBER THAT WE WILL BE IN OUR CARS! (Average January temps 57-58-59 degrees.

$29.95 per person for the self-guided driving tour – no discounts are offered (for seniors or otherwise).

We are not making a group reservation. There are opportunities for guided tours at an additional cost..

 Lunch plans will be announced later for those who choose to participate. Anticipate 11:30 a.m. in a location either inside the park or in Glen Rose.

1,800-acre wildlife preserve with 1,100 rare and endangered animals roaming free in natural habitats. There are opportunities for seeing these animals “up close”!

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT:

  • Bottled water or a warm drink in a thermos.

  • A selection of lenses. (Note that we will not be walking around the wildlife park other than in the parking lot or on the deck of the Overlook Café. Visitors are to remain in their vehicles.)

  • No drones are permitted.
